How to Determine Precedent Model Year:


 


Locate the Tow/Run Switch under the seat bottom. For carts 04-08.5, the Tow/Run Switch is in the center of the batteries. For carts 08.5+, the Tow/Run Switch is at the rear of the battery bucket.

  • If you are installing this light kit on a vehicle with four 12-volt batteries, a voltage reducer is recommended but not required. VOLT-2005 and VOLT-2003 are recommended.

    If you are installing this light kit on a vehicle with six 8-volt batteries, a voltage reducer is REQUIRED. VOLT-2005, VOLT-2003, and VOLT-0011 are the recommended voltage reducers for this application.

    Voltage reducers can be purchased from our online store in the "Voltage Reducers" section.

    2008.5 and newer Precedents are NOT pre-wired for lights. You must install a LGT-396 bucket harness to complete your installation. This item may be added with the drop-down menu on this item page.
