Through the years there were several different widths of the DS electric chassis. This panel will fit all of them.  Trimming may be required if the width is too wide for your application.  We recommend trimming equally on both sides of the panel in order to avoid fitment and centering issues.

  • Position the panel as shown in the photographs.

    If necessary, trim the panel to the desired length. Trim equally on both sides of the panel.

    -If your vehicle doesn't have pre-existing mounting holes, drill two 17/64" holes into your vehicle chassis and mount the panel using 5/16-18" bolts. (Can be included with purchase)

    -For the side mounting bolts, position the panel where the round channel is positioned against the sides of the vertical supports of the vehicle chassis and drill a 3/8" hole through the vehicle chassis to allow for a 5/16" self drilling bolt (Can be included with purchase) to thread directly into the round channel on the front of the panel.

    -Tighten all hardware

The only reason an item would be marked "OUT OF STOCK" is if we know for a fact that there is a long-term back-order situation on that particular item and we do not know when we will be receiving it. Typically if we do not have an item in stock, it can be received locally from our vendors in 1-2 days before it ships to you. Certain items may also be shipped directly from the vendors to you without delaying your order arrival at all. If you're concerned about the stock status of an item we strongly suggest that you contact us prior to ordering to ensure that the items are available for immediate shipment. If you place an order for an item that is not in stock you will be notified via email within 24 hours and an estimated ship date (shown on your emailed invoice) will be provided to you at that time.  Please make sure the email address associated with your payment matches the email address that you currently use. Lots of our customers have old email addresses attached to their payment accounts and do not receive emails from us because they forget to check their old email account. If you place an order and choose to cancel at anytime, no problem. Be aware that cancelled orders in back-order status will be fully refunded minus the non-refundable 3.5% PayPal or Credit Card processing fee. This is why we strongly recommend that you ask about availability status PRIOR to ordering by texting or emailing us. Please provide the SKU number of the item in your message.
