Factory Style IQ Conversion Kit (For Club Car DS 36V/48V Series)
36V or 48V Series to IQ Conversion kit.
 
This kit is needed to convert any 1996 - 2006 NON-IQ Club Car DS to the IQ drive system.  Your vehicle MUST have the IQ drive system in order to use the Alltrax XCT, Navitas TSX, or Navitas AC Drive System.

Our conversion kit is different than anybody else's.  We use factory parts. Our wire colors will match what you see in a factory diagram for a DS with the IQ system. Our kit adds a tow/run switch. Aftermarket kits do not. Without a tow/run switch, your key switch disables your entire system which in-turn disables the safety rollaway braking when parked with the key off.  With an aftermarket setup, if the vehicle is parked on a hill and the park brake comes loose and the vehicle rolls away it will not attempt to slow itself down. With our kit this is not an issue because the tow/run switch controls this circuit whether the key switch is on or off. Our kit includes a factory MCOR4 throttle control unit and all linkage parts to install it on your chassis. The MCOR4 is the newest throttle device from Club Car and will fit on any chassis from 1996 and newer.  For a pre-1996, you can exclude the MCOR4 and install a Curtis PB8 (Sold Separately), but you'll have to make your own mounting bracket and connect it to the existing accelerator linkage. You can exclude the MCOR4 (and linkage parts) via the drop-down menu on this page. For charging, other kits REQUIRE you to purchase a brand new charger. This is optional with our kit. If you have a 1998-2006 48 volt series car we can integrate your factory on-board computer into this wire harness and you can keep it on the car. This will allow you to continue to use your factory charger.  For this option, you need to select "Modify for 3-Pin" from the drop-down menu. If you have a 1996-1997 series 48 volt car, you can use your factory OBC, but it will not mount into the mounting panel. You'll have to figure out a way to mount it if you want to re-use it. For these vehicles and all 36 volt vehicles we recommend choosing the option "Bypass OBC Entirely" and purchasing a Lester Summit II or MODZ MAX smart charger. Neither one of these chargers require an OBC (Onboard Computer) for charger control. If you have one of these cars and you will not be re-using the original OBC or if you didn't have an OBC to begin with but you want to use a factory PowerDrive charger instead of a smart charger, you'll need to select "Leave Intact for IQ OBC" and purchase an OBC, part number 103697301. We have these in our store. Please note that the charge interlock feature will not work if the OBC is bypassed or if you're using a series-OBC on the IQ wire harness.  The charge interlock is the function of the OBC that keeps the vehicle from being operable while charger. Please make sure everyone who uses your vehicle is aware that this feature will no longer work. The only way to salvage this feature is to install a new onboard computer for the IQ system as mentioned above.
 
The mounting panel that's included with the kit may or may not be necessary. If you have a 36 volt cart, you'll need the panel.  If you have a 1997 or older 48 volt cart, you'll need the panel.  The only time you will not need the panel is if you have a 1998 or newer 48 volt cart. The panel will already be installed on these cars and you may exclude it from this kit.
 
ONCE YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO THE IQ DRIVE SYSTEM, YOU CAN USE ANY OF OUR IQ UPGRADE PACKAGES. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOUR ORIGINAL SERIES MOTOR IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH AN IQ CONTROLLER SO YOU WILL HAVE TO SELECT A PACKAGE THAT INCLUDES A MOTOR.     Please note that item availability has been getting better every day since the COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020. The only reason an item would be marked "OUT OF STOCK" is if we know for a fact that there is a long-term back-order situation on that particular item and we do not know when we will be receiving it. Please be aware that we sell these items online as well as locally, so it's difficult to maintain accurate available quantity on the online store at all times but we try our best to keep up. Typically if we do not have an item in stock, it can be received locally from our vendors in 1-2 days before it ships to you. Certain items may also be shipped directly from the vendors to you without delaying your order arrival at all. If you're concerned about the stock status of an item we strongly suggest that you contact us prior to ordering to ensure that the items are available for immediate shipment. If you place an order for an item that is not in stock you will be notified via email within 24 hours and an estimated ship date (shown on your emailed invoice) will be provided to you at that time.  Please make sure the email address associated with your payment matches the email address that you currently use. Lots of our customers have old email addresses attached to their payment accounts and do not receive emails from us because they forget to check their old email account. If you place an order and choose to cancel at anytime, no problem. Be aware that cancelled orders in back-order status will be fully refunded minus the non-refundable 3.5% PayPal or Credit Card processing fee. This is why we strongly recommend that you ask about availability status PRIOR to ordering by texting or emailing us. Please provide the SKU number of the item in your message.     Return/Refund/Cancellation Policy: Returns are accepted up to 14 days after delivery. Sensitive electronic items are non-returnable. However, electronic items such as motors and controllers will carry a manufacturers warranty. Warranty length varies by manufacturer. All returned items are subject to a 5% restocking fee in combination with the 2.99% payment processing fee and original shipping costs from the initial order unless the item is being returned due to a mistake by Revolution Golf Cars, LLC.
    Fulfillment/Shipping Policy: All items will be shipped with basic ground shipping. US Mail is our preferred shipping method, but UPS and Fedex are also used for certain items. Items that are in stock will typically ship within 1-2 business days after we receive the order. Items that are back-ordered will ship as soon as they become available. If an item is back-ordered, we will provide you with the approximate ship-date on the invoice that will be emailed to you after your order is processed. Expedited shipping is available via phone-in orders. please note that the shipping calculator on our website will not accurately figure freight costs to hawaii or alaska.  all orders going to hawaii or alaska must be phoned in or billed manually via email. this also applies to any shipment to any country outside of the usa.
